🔥 Dive into the heart of Megavalanche, one of the most extreme enduro mountain bike races in the world!

Since 1995, thousands of mountain bikers from across the globe have gathered in Alpe d’Huez for a one-of-a-kind event: the Megavalanche.
This legendary downhill mass-start race kicks off at 3,330 meters on the glacier of Le Pic Blanc, descending all the way to Allemond, 2,600 meters below — making it the longest and craziest DH marathon on Earth.

Every year, around 1,500 riders take on this epic challenge, battling through snow, rocks, tight overtakes, and pure adrenaline from the heights of the French Alps to the valley floor.

🎉 The 2025 edition was extra special, marking the 30th anniversary of the Megavalanche!

🐦‍🔥 This run was filmed onboard the brand-new Pivot Firebird V5 Purple Galaxy edition.

Despite starting at the very back of the pack, the rider crashed just after the iconic climb of La Fontaine de Poutran, then broke the SRAM XO AXS derailleur and still managed to catch and pass dozens of riders all the way to the finish.
